The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of grit on the academic performance
of adolescents belonging to both minority and majority communities in India. Grit,
defined as the combination of perseverance and passion for long-term goals, has been
found to be a significant predictor of success in various domains. However, limited
research has focused on the role of grit specifically among adolescents in the Indian
context, particularly considering the diversity of minority and majority communities.
By exploring this relationship, the study aims to provide valuable insights into how grit
may contribute to academic achievement among adolescents from different communities
in India. The findings from this research could have important implications for educational
policies and interventions aimed at promoting academic success and closing
achievement gaps among diverse student populations
